The emblematic Eurostar is once again at the center of the major travel partners of one of the biggest sports event of the world which is happening in London, UK. Hundreds of thousands are expected to travel from continental Europe to reach the buzzing capital of England. Paris to London by Eurostar takes just 2h15.

Hop in the Standard if you are on a budget or in Standard Premier if you prefer more space to or relax in large, comfortable, reclining seats; want to have a light meal and magazines. Either way check in starts 30 minutes before departure.

Eurostar is the most practical way to reach continental Europe and visit major cities like Paris and Brussels in a short time. If you are looking to avoid the crowd in London, take the high speed train to cross the English Channel and voila, you’ll be in Paris eating a delicious crepe on a café terrace or in Brussels sipping a beer.

You can even take the whole family to visit Disneyland Paris and have a wonderful time amidst Mickey Mouse, Shrek and Cinderella. There are 5 weekly Eurostar services between London and Disneyland Paris. To have an even more quiet time on board, as from September 2012, there will be 2 Quiet Coaches – coach 8 and coach 11. Admission is available for travelers with a Business Premier and Standard Premier ticket.

For those who are on business trips, Eurostar has a dedicated travel class, known as the Business Premier. Travelers choosing to travel in this class can check in 10 minutes before departure at a dedicated check in desk, have access to the Business Premier lounges as well as a large comfortable seat, free WIFI Internet, catering, newspapers and slide out table.

Of course you can also choose the other way round, and take the train from continental Europe to reach London and visit other parts of England. For example, you can take the train from Euston railway station which is a few meters away from St Pancreas International station, to visit the South East region of England.

This part of England has many beautiful cities such as Oxford. After an hour long trip from the English capital city, you’ll be in Oxford which is best known for its world renowned university. The Trinity and Christ Church are sumptuous colleges located in the town. Visitors are recommended to assist to a classical concert in the Holywell Music Room, the oldest concert hall in Europe.
